“We’ve received word that a new distillery - STilL 630 - is in the works Downtown and on pace to open late spring/early summer.
Owner and operator David Weglarz is in the process of occupying a property southeast of Busch Stadium and plans to introduce the business with a white whiskey and “mystery spirit.”
Once the aging process of six to nine months is complete, they will release a rum, as well as a bourbon and rye whiskey.
Weglarz, who comes from a family of distillers, apprenticed at Woodinville Whiskey Co. in Seattle. He plans to post more information to the distillery’s in-the-works website within the week.”
